SIMPLICITY
The CircCurrer™ is easy to use, regardless of the operator's dexterity or the surgical context. The device automatically performs the two processes of circumcision: foreskin sectioning and skin ligation. The cut is perfectly circular, while the staples provide hemostasis with a strong, painless, and aesthetically pleasing skin suture.
FAST
Thanks to the CircCurer™, the surgical procedure time is significantly reduced, from approximately 21 minutes to 7 minutes. This time saving allows for local anesthesia instead of general anesthesia, which is always a delicate procedure for children.
SAFETY
Compared to conventional circumcision performed with a scalpel and a resorbable ligature, clinical evaluations have shown the following benefits:
-> Reduction of edema and hematomas
-> Significant reduction in infections
-> Very significant reduction in pain
EFFECTIVE
According to post-operative questionnaires regarding the various circumcision techniques, the CircCurer™ has the highest patient satisfaction index, particularly with regard to the visual appearance of the scar.

- The CirCurer™ consists of a cylindrical scalpel and a circular mechanical stapler.
- Pressing the trigger activates the scalpel blade and then releases the staples: the foreskin is cut and the skin is immediately sutured.
Benefits :
- Clinically proven reduction of post-operative complications (hematomas, bleeding, edema)
- Reduced pain compared to other circumcision techniques
- Safety and ease of use
- Shorter operating time
- High patient satisfaction rates related to the visual appearance of the scar

- Pistol-shaped design for excellent grip
- The staples are positioned circularly
- They fall out on their own after about 1 month
- Pulling the trigger initiates the mechanical cutting/suture
- Safety lever
- Patented and clinically evaluated medical device
- Size indication (Ø, in mm)

Preamble
Caution: This user guide is for informational purposes only and CircCurer™ is for use by qualified medical personnel only.
Choosing the right size during your consultation at the doctor's office
- By measuring the diameter of the glans using the perforated ruler provided by Med'Arte. Always choose the larger size if the glans struggles to fit into one of the holes and touches the edges of the hole.
- If a ruler is not available, measure the diameter of the glans with a tape measure. CircCurer™ sizes typically fit into the following age ranges:
- 2-6 years→ 12mm / 6-10 years→ 15mm / 11-13 years→ 18mm / 14-20 years→ 21/26mm / 20 years and above→ 30/36mm
hospital intervention
Step 1: System Preparation
- Pre-surgical shaving of the pubis, site antisepsis, installation of the surgical field, local or general anesthesia.
- For phimosis, preputial adhesions must be completely released.
- Using a surgical marker, trace the cutting edge of the foreskin following the balanopreputial groove.
- Unscrew the rear gray ring of the CircCurrer™ in order to release the acorn bell and discard the red ring protecting the cylinder.
Step 2: Installing the bell on the glans
- Place 3 mosquito-type clamps all around the foreskin. One of them should clamp the frenulum that has been cut.
- Pull the clamps while pushing the glans bell inside the foreskin. The pull on the clamps will stop when the bell completely covers the glans and the marker line, indicating the cut, is located on the posterior edge of the bell ring .
- Wrap the self-locking tie included in the CircCurrer™ box around the foreskin and tighten it on the bottom of the glans bell shaft. Do not tighten this tie above the plastic part.
- Remove the clamps and insert the stem of the acorn bell into the CircCurrer™ housing. Screw the gray ring so that the top of the stem protrudes slightly from the back of the ring. Do not overtighten.
Step 3: Section of the foreskin and skin stapling
- Release the red safety catch that holds the trigger.
- Hold the CircCurrer™ firmly and squeeze the trigger firmly in one motion . Hold the handle at the stop for 30 seconds before releasing it.
- Replace the red safety catch.
Step 4: Removal of the foreskin
- Unscrew the gray ring by 5 mm and press on the back of the ring to return the rod to the system. Repeat this operation twice to properly detach the foreskin from the penis. Then carefully remove the glans bell.
- Check that the entire foreskin is cut and, if necessary, finish the cut with a scalpel.
Step 6: Dressing
- Compress the cut area with your hand for 2-3 minutes. Slight bleeding may occur even after this pressure. In rare cases of bleeding, hemostasis will be performed.
- Cover the surgical site with a greasy tulle soaked in petroleum jelly.
- Use an elastic bandage as the final external dressing. A double bandage is recommended; the first should be quite loose, the second tighter.
- If the dressing is too tight for urination, loosen the external elastic bandage 3 hours after surgery.
Post-operative care and follow-up
- Change of the tulle gras 2-3 days after the intervention which will have been preceded by an antiseptic cleaning with a suitable disinfectant solution.
- Showering is permitted for 3 days after surgery. A condom can be used to protect the penis. Disinfection is required afterward.
- Sexual intercourse should be avoided for up to 50 days after the procedure.
- The staples fall out on their own 1 month after the procedure and, at most, 2 months after. After one week, however, it is possible to remove them with a surgical staple remover.
